T5 Post Icon Flashing coil light and exhaust light on!

Anyone else had this problem.
Started van one morning and the coil light flashes after starting and the exhaust light stays on,
The van runs but there is a lack of power, like the turbo is not cutting in.
Going to see a mechanic today but seriously worried that this could be expensive.

Mines a 2009 t5 174, mechanic has said the fault code indicates its a sensor, wiring or at worst a turbo. Its going under the knife friday so I hope it pulls through ok.
